3-D Home Kit

Grades 6-12.

Students can construct a detailed, 1/4 in. scale, three-dimensional house model of their own design. Includes complete poster-board building materials, from brick, stone, sideing, roofing, and decking, to windows, doors, skylights, kitchen cabinets, and appliances. Also includes materials for interior walls, stairs, bathroom fixtures, scale people, and a dog and cat. Comes with an 18 in. x 24 in. floor plan grid, scale ruler, roof slope calculator, and Form & Function: Design and Math Worksheet. Professional design tips and step-by-step instructions provided. Users can sketch their own real or dream house decorating, remodeling, or building project with the Architect’s Drawing Kit, design a floor plan and furniture layout with the Home Quick Planner, and construct a scale model of their design with the 3-D Home Kit.
