This durable nursing manikin was developed specifically for scenario-based simulation training and simulates an adult, life-size patient, making it the ideal training solution for students pursuing career paths in patient care.
The manikin is made of unbreakable and water-resistant plastics for longevity. It features interchangeable genitals so it can be set up as a male or female patient. Can be easily positioned like a real patient with natural movement of the arms, legs, and joints and can sit upright in the bed for treatments and examinations. Removable organs are included for additional training scenarios.
For auscultation training, the manikin features 11 anterior and four posterior auscultation sites to use with the NursingScope Auscultation Training Stethoscope powered by Cardionics. NursingScope is an electronic simulation training stethoscope created for auscultation training purposes. The stethoscope functions wirelessly with the included controller device, giving instructors access to a library of 42 high-quality sounds. There are 21 heart sounds, 15 lungs sounds, and 6 bowel sounds. The instructor can select and change the sounds that students will hear once they place the stethoscope on one of the manikin's auscultation sites, adapting the scenario on the spot for more immersive training.
