*NOTE: Preserved bullfrogs supplied by Nasco are collected around the world, and some are reared in commercial operations. Single-injected bullfrogs have red latex injected into the arterial system. Double-injected bullfrogs, in addition to the red, have blue latex injected into the venous system via the femoral vein, filling the venous system often including the portal vein. Triple-injected bullfrogs also have yellow latex injected into the portal system via the lateral abdominal vein.
