Recreate the sheer, luminous qualities of traditional beeswax encaustic with water-based DecoArt Wax Effects Acrylic Paint.
This ready-to-use acrylic paint is designed to be used straight out of the jar with a palette knife, brush, or texture tool. The mixed-media medium dries to a burnished wax finish for gorgeous results.
Your students can use the thick-bodied, translucent paint for modeling, layering, texturing, and stenciling. Wax Effects Acrylics are also wonderful for layering on with a palette knife, combining colors, and layering with collage materials.
Paint cures in 12 to 24 hours; do not force dry.
Choose from 20 colors in 4 oz. jars.
