Den-Test Oral Hygiene Teaching Kit
Grades 4-9.
The Den-Test kit teaches students the benefits of good oral hygiene by visually demonstrating the effects of brushing on the amount of cavity-related bacteria present on their teeth. Students learn sterile technique as they grow bacteria from their mouths on nutrient agar plates. Includes optional instructions for building an incubator box. Required: incubator (optional), hot plate, and an autoclave or bleach. Designed for 24 students working in pairs.
