Energy Transfer

Grades 6-12.

A series of activities based on waves, light, and sound. Some of the activities include producing both longitudinal and transverse mechanical waves and comparing their similarities and differences, observing wavelength and frequency in water, studying vibrations and the production of sound waves, using an elasticized string to create and observe different pitch noises, and so much more! Kit includes: six LAB-AIDS® mini wave tanks, six springs, six pieces of elastic string with barbed end, six plastic paddles, six 15-cm rulers, 28 student worksheets and guides, two transparencies, and a teacher’s manual.
