Flow of Genetic Information Kit for 3 Groups
Grades 9-12.
Flow of Genetic Information kit lets students model DNA replication using color-coded, foam nucleotides and a place mat. They will be able to model replication of the leading and lagging strands of DNA, model transcription by copying 1 strand of DNA into mRNA using an RNA polymerase, and model translation/synthesis by decoding mRNA into protein on the ribosome place mat. NOTE: Only available in the U.S.
