This hands-on project combines laser-cut wooden parts and working hydraulic components to create a fully functioning robotic arm.
In a group of 2–3 students, learners assemble pivoting joints, tubing, and four syringes to operate the arm manually and rotate it 180° using a geared system.
The final model measures approximately 16.5 in. x 8.7 in. A paint set is also included for creative customization.
The included manual dives into the mechanics and physics of hydraulic motion and guides students through engaging STEM-aligned activities.
