Students gain a better understanding of our world by experiencing its food and culture! Lesson plans are complete and thorough. The Global Picture - Foods of the World, brings students to a higher level of global understanding and appreciation. Themes covered in this section include: where the US fits in to the global picture, world hunger, foods of the world, religious and special holiday foods, appetizers from around the world, pancakes from around the world, and cultural diversity. International Cuisine engages students in an understanding of the food and cultural characteristics of the country, before preparing that country’s recipes.
