A major step in plant identification is recognizing the shapes and arrangements of leaves. This mount illustrates the most common forms for botanists. Simple leaves shown are linear, elliptic, fan, chordate, needle, lanceolate, rhomboid, scale, deltoid, and oblong. Compound leaves are trifoliate, palmate, pinnate, and bipinnate. Arrangements are alternate, opposite, and whorled. All fully labeled. 14 in. x 21 in.
