Save time - start with bisque! All Mayco® bisque is factory tested for glaze compatibility and quality, providing students a great starting point for their ceramic projects. As a clay canvas
, bisque pieces are fired to cone 04 and can be decorated with glazes or non-fired products. For a fired finish: decorate with glazes using brushes and other decorating tools and kiln fire your bisque project to cone 06 (1828° F - medium rate). For non-fired finishes: bisque is a perfect surface for acrylics, decoupage, glues, glitter, etc. To preserve a non-fired finish you may use spray or brush-on sealers. Mugs measures 3-3/4 in. H x 2-1/2 in. dia.
