Nasco Continuous Contour Wire Self-Portraits Kit
Grades 5–8.
Introduce students to the challenge and excitement of continuous contour line drawing and sculpture in one amazing lesson!
This kit includes a lesson plan with teaching instructions, extension ideas, and enough supplies for a class of 24 students.
Over the course of 3–4 days, students will learn about contour line drawing, create a continuous contour self-portrait with techniques they learned, and then turn that 2D self-portrait into a 3D wire sculpture.
After completing this project, students will be able to say:

- I can construct a sculpture from a two-dimensional drawing
