Take your students on a journey of self-reflection and skill-building. By the time they fill up their passport, they’ll be well on their way to becoming a strong public speaker.
The Passport to Public Speaking walks students through six exercises that align with CASEL’s core competencies. The exercises build on each other to walk students through all the stages of speech making, including choosing a topic, understanding your audience, and delivery.
This kit can be used in a classroom, club, or camp setting. Each student will receive their own Passport to Public Speaking. The included teacher guide provides instruction and extension ideas.
Exercises can take place over a week or be delivered over the course of six weeks, depending on your desired timing. Once students complete the activities and deliver their speech, you can recognize their work with a certificate of achievement.
