This kit features two lessons: Balancing Butterfly and Coffee Filter Tie Dye Balloon. In the first, students investigate balance, center of mass, and symmetry by creating a butterfly that can balance on their finger. In the second, they explore color mixing by designing a tie-dye hot air balloon and observing how primary colors combine to form new ones.
