Grades 5 and up Explore basic mechanics concepts with this durable, all metal, apparatus. The plane in this kit is wide enough to accommodate standard friction blocks. Its walled construction prevents objects from falling off the sides. Simply adjust the plane's angle and lock it into place with a single knob, or flatten it for easy storage when not in use.
The included lever features a printed centimeter scale and support holes at the center and ends. Support the hooked or slotted weights with binder clips. The clips can also be used as a counterbalance when no weights are attached. Use this kit for multiple types of in-class demonstrations or expand on it for specific lessons.
