Water Treatment & Filtration Kit

Water that enters homes and other public buildings may be utilized for a variety of purposes but it is assumed that one of those purposes will be consumption. Water delivered by municipal water supply must be treated prior to delivery to insure health and safety. In this activity, students will perform several of these steps on raw water (that you prepare) and examine the changes in the physical properties of the water after each step. Kit contains enough materials for 15 groups of students.
