Adding circuitry to wearable items is a fun and creative way to introduce core science and
engineering con- cepts.
This kit makes it easy for all learners to create a light-up item regardless of dexterity issues,
classroom time constraints, and existing sewing skills. There’s no sewing required!
With conductive tape and circuit components, you can add a variety of LED accents to virtually any
wearable item that you can stick a piece of tape to, including paper and fabric.
This kit includes materials for 5 projects:
• 16 ft. of 1/4" Maker Tape™ conductive tape
• Five CR2032 batteries
• 15 jumbo LEDs (5 colors, including color changing)
• 2" strip of conductive hook-and-loop fastening
• 5 self-adhesive hook-and-loop dots
