Constructing the models will show how levers are used to increase a force for lifting heavy objects and how to create models with complex motion by connecting many levers together.Â
Students will also develop creativity and critical thinking skills as they build working models of a seesaw, a movable weight scale, a wheelbarrow, a parking gate, a pantograph, a double deck bridge, and more.Â
Easy-to-follow building instructions for all models can be found online or in the included booklet. The 38-page booklet provides detailed explanations of the different scientific principles applied and incorporates innovative experimental activities and a quiz section for hands-on learning.
