Grades 5–12
Help students build up their knowledge and experiment with different types of buildings and bridges. They’ll find out how architectural design provides massive weight support, discover all the types of forces applied, and learn how engineers manage to reduce the effects of forces.Â
Students will also develop creativity and critical thinking skills as they build 9 working models, including a house, a pyramid, and various types of bridges: beam, arch, truss, cable-stayed, and suspension bridge.
Easy-to-follow building instructions for all models can be found either online or in the included booklet. The 34-page booklet provides detailed explanations of the different scientific principles applied and incorporates innovative experimental activities and a quiz section for hands-on learning.
It all starts on the innovative ENGINO building system. Developed by STEM experts for open projects and engineering challenges, the modular system is fully compatible with all age groups, designed for increased complexity according to the level of each student. The patented design enables students to quickly and easily build fully functional technological models.
