Encourage children to make and recognize 2-D and 3-D shapes, as well as develop an awareness of shapes and texture and explore creative thinking. Gears are added by simply pushing them into place. One side is textured to help children recognize different shapes and forms, and the inner area of the triangles and squares are marked in Braille. Gears mesh together either on a flat surface or at a 90° angle. Gears turn once connected. The easy-to-attach shapes are designed for little hands and are made from durable, lightweight plastic. Includes 4 triangles (7 in.) and 24 squares (8-1/4 in.), 10 gear squares, and 20 gears.
